Ghost Deck released...yesterday

Go check them out at www.ellusionist.com. They're awesome. Many of the trick decks came out with it. This is for the magicians who haven't seen the cards yet.

I just heard a great idea, but will it work?

While reading a forum topic, a fellow magician had performed a trick called the Hummer Card, which is where you make a card fly around your body and to your hand, and afterwords gave the card to a girl he loved, with writing on it saying something about how he loved her. I'm hoping to do something similar for the girl I love. She's going to end up with the card and the note will express my emotions. Here's my worries- what if she gets freaked out and ends up thinking I'm a stalker? What if she's already in a relationship? Anyways, I don't have any clue which trick I should pull, so if you(the reader) have any ideas, I'm open for suggestions. I can only learn beginning to intermidiate level sleight-of-hand because I'm a little short on time and I need an idea fast. My school starts on September the 6th.

Well, enough rambling about that, let's move on to some other stuff. I'm going to be teaching all year long, and I've got the supplies needed for the first two classes. I'll be showing Copperfield, Criss Angel and Lance Burton in the first class, which will be called "Performance of Magic" and I'll be teaching VERY easy math-related tricks in my second class, called "Beginning Tricks for the Beginning Magician" or something similar. In my third class I'll be teaching beginning-intermidiate level tricks, and in my fourth class, which will run all of my second semester, I'll be teaching everything from easy tricks to difficult sleight-of-hand. I'll also be teaching history of magic, flourishes, and maybe even some very difficult tricks to the willing students. If you have any suggestions for my class, please feel free to post a comment.

I know magicians aren't supposed to give away their secrets, but I'm doing so only after doing a "screening" of my classmates. By this I mean that in order to learn the better secrets, they must show a certain amount of dedication to the art. If they took Tom's classes last year or they show a passion to learn this year, I will gladly teach them. I don't give my secrets away to anyone, mind you.

First thing's first. My introduction

Hello, my name is Evan, I'm a magician, and I'm a student. I've been learning and performing magic for a year now, and I've already learned enough magic to do my own street magic routine. However, since I don't usually end up downtown, I use my knowledge to co-teach classes on magic at my school. My English Teacher, Tom, brought me into the world of magic, but now he's taking a one year sabbatical from the school. Due to his temporary leaving of the school I will be taking over his magic classes. I love the art of magic and I'm so focused on learning the art that I believe one day I will be able to have my own parlor/stage show, or maybe even a good special on tv. I'm a big fan of Criss Angel, David Blaine, Lance Burton, and my friend and mentor Tom.
